Badge Accreditation Information
Eligibility
  • Students enrolled in university or graduate school programs with a focus on film or related content.
  • Students enrolled in university or graduate school programs outside of film/content majors who are active members of their school¡¯s cinema or film club.
How to Apply
  • BIFAN uses Eventival platform for badge accreditation.
  • Create BIFAN Eventival account.
  • Click [Accreditation] tab and select [BIFANIAN] badge.
  • Submit the badge application form during the registration period.
    * Please attach all required documents to your application.
  • Once your application is approved, proceed with payment via PayPal on Eventival.
  • Confirmation email will be sent once payment is completed.
  • Pick up your badge at the badge desk during its opening hours.
Supporting

Document
  • Please submit a full-color original copy of a ¡®Certificate of Enrollment¡¯ (ÀçÇÐÁõ¸í¼­), or a ¡®Certificate of Leave of Absence¡¯ (ÈÞÇÐÁõ¸í¼­) if currently taking a break from school, issued within the past month. (Student IDs are not acceptable.)
  • Additional documentation may be requested for verification purposes. Approval may be refused if supporting documents are not attached or provided, an unidentified photo is used, or the applicant does not meet eligibility criteria.
Benefits
  • Ticket Reservations
    • Entitled to reserve up to 4 film tickets per day.
    • Reservations can only be made for films screening on the same day or the following day.
    • Cannot reserve two or more tickets for the same time slot.
    • Eligible to reserve tickets for general screenings, ¡®Odd Family¡¯ section and Master Classes.
    • Please note the badge does not grant access to special screenings/events such as the Opening/Closing Ceremonies or Midnight screenings.
  • Guest Package
    • Entitled to receive the Guest Package and a Program Book voucher.
    • Please note the Program Book may run out early as it is available in limited quantities.
  • Access to Program Events
    • Access to post-screening events such as Guest Visits (GV), and Master Classes, subject to seat availability. (A separate ticket is required to watch the film.)
  • BIFAN Guest Lounges
    • Access to BIFAN Guest Lounges. Each badge holder will receive coffee vouchers, allowing for complimentary coffee up to the number of vouchers provided.
  • The badge is non-transferable and must only be used by the individual it was issued to.
  • For entering the screening, you have to present your ticket and badge.
  • Badges not received will be discarded immediately after the festival ends.

  • You can pick up your badge and register on-site at the badge desk during opening hours.
  • The Badge Desk is not open on the day of the Opening Ceremony (July 4).
Note
  • The application for a badge cannot be modified online after the pre-registration deadline. Please contact the accreditation manager if you encounter any problems.
  • Save the dates! Once Pre-Registration closes, On-site Registration will be the only option.
